Aussie made ceramic buttons

After a recent visit to Scrapbooking and Beyond trade show, I made contact with Robyn Allen-Waters and ordered some beautiful hand made buttons to use on my scrapbook pages. I found that these dragonflies went beautifully with the Scenic Route paper I had been saving for just the right occassion.

My Scrapbooking Hero

Reading some surfwear brochures, I got inspired to put together a layout. I find fashion inspiring as it reflects what is happening in the world around us, putting the photos in my layouts into context. I rarely scrpabook photos of myself and this one has been waiting for a while, as anyone who went to any of Becky Higgins' talks in Sydney would realise, was it really two years ago? The most inspiring thing Becky said was, "Remember why you are scrapbooking."

Digital Scrapbooking and Me

I was so proud of my latest project in Scrapbook Creations I thought I would get on the blogging waggon and journal my emotions. As I spend most of my time at home with three children 6 and under, and my work time is spent in a classroom full of children, I rarely get to share my scrapbooking highs and lows with anyone. Let's face it DH (Darling Husband) gets it about as much as I get his need to go really fast on motorbikes.

As I was photographing the magazine my DD (Darling Daughter) decided it was time for dinner and stuck her head right in the photo, which lead to an interesting series of photos. I decided to take the plunge and have a bash at digital scrapbooking. So here is my first valiant attempt.
